Brief Overview
AGS has a strong commitment to the health and safety of our staff. All AGS employees are OHSA 40 hour certified and are required to attend the annual OSHA 8 hour refresher training. Medical, wellness, drug, and alcohol surveillance is ongoing throughout employment to ensure all staff members are fit to complete their job tasks safely and according to standard practices. AGS personnel are required to participate in the development and distribution of task specific job hazard analysis (JHA’s) and are well versed in AGS’ detailed health and safety plan (HASP).
AGS and its employees are committed to furthering the growth and development of health and safety standards as practiced by our consultants. Biannual reviews of the AGS HASP are required by all AGS personnel, prompting any change that may affect the adequacy of the HASP program developed by AGS. This method requires AGS employees to be actively aware of, and contribute to, the content provided in the JSA’s and HASP. In turn, this process leads to finely-tuned assessments that protect the health and safety of our employees.
